The Exeter-Milligan speech team had a good showing at the Class D-2 State Speech Meet in Kearney on March 17. Morgan White performed well in her three preliminary rounds, finishing twelfth in the event. In informative speaking, Troy Kallhoff just missed the break for finals by one spot, finishing seventh in the three rounds of preliminaries. However, Kallhoff performed well in the extemporaneous speaking, reaching the final round. In the last round, his performance earned him a fifth-place state medal in the extemporaneous speaking event.
